What is it?

Amped up on gallons of coffee, my head was buried in the computer, and the to-do list, and the news about our financial sky that is falling. Then I turn to see Emily who'd snuck into my office and curled up like a kitten in the window. She was just enjoying the wind on her face. Maybe life doesn't have to be so complicated. Loving this moment, I got up to grab the camera, and had hoped to get the silhouette of her face. But by then she was aware of me, and on to something else. All I got was the back of her head. But I love it for the reminder of how quickly these sweet moments pass.

What do you have to share today?  

I think this was the fourth time I've been on the show,  but I still woke up with visions of myself blurting out obscenities on live television. You think I'm kidding. I swear. It's like when you're not supposed to laugh in church, and all of a sudden everything is hysterical. That's how I feel every time the camera is pointed at me. That for no reason, I will break out into Terets, and scream out every curse word that I've ever heard. Seventeen gallons of coffee didn't help.

But I have to say that once I got to the station, it was no sweat. My sweet friend Selena who normally produces the weather, happened to be filling in to help. And Shelly is a good friend now, so it kind of felt like I was just chillin at girls night. Well, minus the wine. Anyway, if you want to check it out, here's the link.

Last week I open the mail to find that Jason has a warrant out for his arrest. Apparently his solution for resolving a parking ticket is to shove it into a drawer and pretend that his Invisible Superhero friend took care of it. So, this morning, under threat of JAIL he goes to pay the fine. Mind you, a $30 bill has now grown into FIVE HUNDRED AND FIFTY flushed dollars. When he gets home, I ask if it's all taken care of, and his answer is, "Yep. I'm no longer a fugitive....there goes my sex appeal".

You know what, tomorrow I'm going to spend a thousand dollars on candy and makeup.

I'd always wanted to do this, so when Dawn called to see if I would photograph her twin's birthday party, I was thrilled. Here's what we got.
